Beterra began as a spin-off of Synensys – a global patient safety and quality improvement consulting firm. Within Synensys, Beterra had developed measurement tools and analytics for over 250 hospitals since 2010. As we continued our work across 7 countries, we realized that healthcare’s need for performance measurement would be better supported by a dedicated, focused, sister company. In February of 2016, we launched Beterra with the same technology, a growing team, and a bigger vision. Beterra exists to simplify the collection, analysis, and use of healthcare performance data in order to accelerate improvement. As we continue to grow our team and our platform, we are committed to simplifying performance improvement and most of all, making data actionable.
